Multiple Sclerosis is believed to be an autoimmune disease where nerve cells that transport electrical impulses/messages between your brain and body are damaged.

This then leads to the development of a gap the message pathway, disrupting the flow of the messages traveling to and from the brain and body. As a result of this the message is either distorted in some way or partially/completely lost - leading to loss of motor and health functions...which in turn affects the individual’s health and lifestyle in multiple ways.
